The Details
Traumatic experience:
Navid's younger brother passed away unexpectedly in April of 2013.
Effects of the traumatic experience:
The effects of his brother's passing have been mostly positive and it has been a source of strength and motivation for Navid. It has helped him live the life he has wanted to live and get outside of his comfort zone.
Overcoming the traumatic experience:
Navid found that having something else to focus on and finding like-minded people really helped him during the grieving process.
What Navid does today:
Navid runs a location-independent online business; helps others build their personal brand and create virtual summits; is working on a book; and hosts a podcast.
Final Question:
Given what you know now, if you could go back to when you were going through the tough times and give yourself one piece of advice, what would it be?
Navid's Answer: Learn from each experience and be patient with yourself.
