The Details
Traumatic experience:
A bad car accident about 9 years ago left Meron practically bedridden for 18 months with back injuries that left him in terrible pain.
Effects of the traumatic experience:
Meron had to alter the course of his life. He had the next 7 years planned out until his accident changed everything. He had to drop out of college with one semester left, move back home, and miss out on a career opportunity with the Israeli Army.
Overcoming the traumatic experience:
The biggest factor in Meron being able to overcome what happened to him was his positive attitude. Instead of getting depressed about it all, he used his experience as an opportunity to hit the pause button on life and reconsider his path. He used his time in bed to educate himself with audio books, particularly on the topics of personal development and entrepreneurship.
What Meron does today:
Meron runs the Inspiring Innovation brand which includes the Inspiring Innovation podcast and the Podcast Incubator. Meron's goal is to share other people's success stories on his podcast in order to help listeners find out what they are meant to do and help them create freedom in their lives. He created his podcasting course to help others learn how to podcast so that they can get their message out into the world.
Final Question:
Given what you know now, if you could go back to when you were going through the tough times and give yourself one piece of advice, what would it be?
Meron's Answer: The grass gets greener.
I also asked a bonus question which I got an amazing answer to!
