The Details
Traumatic experience:
Luminita was physically and emotionally abused by her father growing up until he passed away when she was 12 years old.
Effects of the traumatic experience:
Growing up this way led Luminita to struggle in relationships, feel insecure and unworthy, feel fearful, and play things safe.
Overcoming the traumatic experience:
Reading about personal development, being able to forgive, writing her book, and meditation and prayer have helped Luminita get to where she is today.
What Luminita does today:
Luminita is an author and blogger.
Final Question:
Given what you know now, if you could go back to when you were going through the tough times and give yourself one piece of advice, what would it be?
Luminita's Answer: Have faith and know that you will be okay.
