The Details
Traumatic experience:
Dixie grew up in a cult, was raped when she was 8 years old, and was physically beaten by father when she was 14 years old.
Effects of the traumatic experience:
Dixie struggled with her self-worth and value and was suicidal.
Overcoming the traumatic experience:
Entrepreneurship and changing her belief systems have helped Dixie become the person she is today.
What Dixie does today:
Dixie is a business coach, editor for The Good Men Project, and a business consultant.

Given what you know now, if you could go back to when you were going through the tough times and give yourself one piece of advice, what would it be?
